Here comes Pride 2025 in San Francisco! This one feels more important than ever, because we have a lot to fight for this year given the all-out assault on trans rights by the government that has many of us fearing similar shenanigans will follow for other parts of the LGBTQA+ spectrum.
So let’s get out there and show them we have the right to party and be ourselves!
As you are out and about going to parties, protests, and events, be sure and bring all you will need to ensure you’ve got the party traveling with you. That’s why I always make my Pride Cannabis Party pack which should be able to fit in a fanny pack, because they will not let you into some places with big backpacks.
This year I’m bringing Manzanita Natural’s The Fizz in their new limited run Pride beverage called Love Punch. Love it you will! The flavor is a bubbly orange with hints of pineapple.
At 100mg of THC per can, there will be plenty to share with friends. You can easily measure out 10mg doses in a shot glass. I like to mix some with my iced tea. (I’m usually good topping out at 20-ish mg.)
Manzanita Naturals was founded by gay folk, so it is always good to support their products. Love Punch runs at around $8 and should be available anywhere that sells Manzanita Naturals.
Next, gummies. Camino has a delicious Pride Passion Fruit Punch in a rainbow canister. These delicious, Jello-y pillows of cannabis goodness pack 5mg per pop and run around $22 at most dispensaries.
A portion of all sales of these gummies will go to supporting LGBTQA+ organizations in the states that can sell their products.

Plus Gummies started the Pride gummy tradition with their delicious Rainbow Sherbet flavor. They were sold out at the places I went to, which I take as a good sign. At any rate, this year 50 percent of the money made through their sale will go to the local G4G (Gay For Good) organization whose mission statement reads: “Gay For Good San Francisco mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity, foster inclusion, and strengthen ties to the broader San Francisco community. We facilitate welcoming, inclusive service projects in support of a wide range of causes throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas, and we look forward to meeting you.”
Of course you will want to carry some flower as well.
I like staying local and going with Sunset Connect. These amazing one-gram joints usually sell for $5 and are stellar quality.
My current favorite flavors are Purple Rainbow, Strawberry Jack, and Hyperion Haze which caught my attention because Henry’s Original put out an Amnesia Haze every year that hits all my stoner buttons.
Sunset Connect has great quality cannabis packed in cute packaging reminiscent of the old Muni bus transfers. They look cool when you pop one out at a party and are definite conversation starters. They are available at most local dispensaries.
If you want to go the infused joint route, Jeeters has their new Shirley Temple Hybrid featuring the Pride flag. Jeeters always deliver a nice strong infused hit, and these are sure to be a cherry-flavored hit on the dance floor when you want to be lifted HIGHER!
Jeeters in all flavors are pretty easy to find at most dispensaries for around $40. There is also a Shirley Temple vape available too.

To help you stock up on weed for the big weekend, I recommend my very own event BONG-O BINGO’s Pride Party at Mission Cannabis Club on Sat/28 from 6-9pm, where you can win cannabis prizes with every round of bingo while getting high.
I will be hosting with Thee Pristine Condition for a super-fun night of drag cannabis bingo. There will be infused mocktails by Manzanita Naturals and cannabis hits off the Oooka available for free while you play. All that plus a fun drag show!
I couldn’t find any other queer cannabis happenings this year, so let’s work on that. Most queer parties this weekend will be pretty weed friendly nonetheless—but the community should be more involved.
On Pride Sunday, June 29, you can catch me DJing at the Cinch Saloon from 3-8pm with a fun drag show and sexy gogos. We can all take some tokes together outside!
Finally, I asked Kala Salazar, the mocktail expert at Manzanita Naturals for an easy quick mocktail that can be served at parties or taken along in a container. She recommended Orange Creamscicle, which is half The Fizz Orange (10mg or 100mg) and half cream soda over ice.
“It’s a delicious treat in the sun and super easy to pour & go,” she said.
“There’s also Strawcherry Spritz made with our Fizz Strawberry Sparkling Water poured over ice with a splash of maraschino cherries making it easy, delish & low calories!”
There you go, plenty of delicious and stoney ideas for your Pride Pack this year.
As always, check in with your favorite dispensaries to see what Pride specials they may have. Be sure to pack water to stay hydrated because cannabis, the sun, and alcohol deplete the moisture in your body. And pack some pepper spray just in case. It’s better to have it and not use it then run into some bad people without it. Gay history has taught us to be prepared!
Let’s share the high of Pride. Stay safe, unite, get stronger, and stay high.
Now, it’s time to light up.
