A sincere thank you from Tim and Marke

Thanks to our community, we're ready to take on 2026. But we still need your support!

-

Dear Readers,

Phew! Happy 2026. Thank you so much for reading, supporting, sharing, and donating in 2025. We’re proud to announce that, thanks to you, we made our 48 Hills year-end fundraising goal, and will continue with our independent media mission into 2026. We are such a small operation that we truly value each and every contribution. Our work is incredibly meaningful when we serve such a lively, engaged, and awesome community!

Thanks!

We wish this was the end of it, but of course we can still use all the support we can get for the year ahead. You can still sign up as a recurring monthly donor (we’ve got some great perks coming soon!), upgrade to our exclusive paid newsletters (including Tim’s Thursday Agenda and Tamara’s Weekend Good Taste), or make a one-time contribution to support us, any time of the year! All of our donation budget goes to supporting local journalists, editors, artists, and small businesses.

We’ve got a ton of things planned as we move into a crucial election year, support a devastated arts and culture scene, and continue to break important stories that the mainstream media won’t touch. Please keep reading, sharing, and supporting! We really couldn’t do this without you.

Thank you again for all your support,

Tim, Marke, and the 48 Hills family
