Miami-based metalcore outfit Poison the Well wound up their tour for first album in 17 years Peace in Place at Regency Ballroom, May 17, and a thirsty crowd drank it all down. Besides new tracks like “Thoroughbreds,” the 29-year-old band brought out crowd favorites like “Botchla,” “Slice Paper Wrists,” “Zombies Are Good For Your Health,” revisiting highlights from their five previous LPs, much of it chronicled in recently released vinyl box set The Complete Discography 1997-2009. It was a triumphant return for the stalwarts: A good scream-along is needed now more than ever.
