Live Shots: Teens In Trouble fulfill 7×7 dreams at Bottom of the Hill homecoming

A gratifyingly punk Women's History Month closer.

Teens in Trouble, a self-described rock band “for dog people” is fronted by San Francisco original Lizzie Killian. The group’s debut record What’s Mine was released this time last year to wide acclaim, including in Alternative Press, Consequence, Stereogum, and Paste. Despite decades in San Francisco’s music scene playing in various projects, Killian had never performed at her favorite San Francisco venue, Potrero Hill district’s Bottom of the Hill. That changed on March 27 when Teens in Trouble had their first show in the city proper to celebrate What’s Mine (an event that also served as the album’s anniversary party.) Fresh off the band’s debut at SXSW, Killian’s musical homecoming marked the fulfillment of a lifelong 7×7 dream. It also served as a gratifyingly punk way to close out Women’s History Month.
