Live Shots: The Who ‘Hit Back’ with endless hits in San Jose

Love reigned o'er the SAP Center crowd as Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend launched into decades of memories.

Legends Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend (sounding terrific), along with full band and orchestra, revved up SAP Center on October 24 for the latest leg of their “The Who Hits Back” tour. A rapturous crowd thundered along to “Pinball Wizard,” “Eminence Front,” “Baba O’Riley” “Love Reign O’er Me,” “Who Are You,” and 16 other indelible songs of their generation. Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs opened up.
