If you’ve entertained the desire to write for a local publication or a news website, but questioned your skills to do so, don’t fret any further: City College of San Francisco has a program that can help. The Department of Journalism has an array of courses that can train you to become a skilled writer and arrange an internship opportunity at a local media outlet. The department has a wide range of media contacts, as well as professionals who are instructors in the program. So, take advantage of this opportunity now. Start by glancing at the Fall 2025 course schedule below, but act quickly as the Fall semester begins on August 16.
