Win a pair of tickets to see reggae star Prezident Brown this Friday!

Get your roots fix at Sweetwater Music Hall with the Jamaican-born 'Most Conscious Artist'

Roots reggae star Prezident Brown is coming back to Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley for one night only, on Friday, July 12—and we have three pairs of tickets to give away! TO ENTER: Email marke@48hills.org with the subject line “Prezident Brown” and your name and favorite reggae song in the body by 8pm on Thu/11. Winners will be chosen at random and informed that night. Good luck!

Prezident Brown‘s music speaks a universal language which remains timeless. Repeatedly crowned Most Conscious Artist by the Jamaican Federation of Musicians, he is an artist driven by a sense of mission and purpose which dictates that he “edutains” as much as he entertains. As he said so once himself, “you can fire up a CD but what you cannot fire up is the live vibe of Prezident Brown.” Throughout the years, he has continued to perform at various venues and festivals in both the United States and Jamaica, wherein he is instrumental in transmitting messages of consciousness and positive vibrations. He is steadfast in creative works and releasing music, which include singles such as “Son of a A Gun,” “Experience and Knowledge,” “Turn It On,” “Rolling Paper,” “Word” and many more.

48 Hills welcomes comments in the form of letters to the editor, which you can submit here. We also invite you to join the conversation on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
