Photos from the Monday demonstration in Oakland on MLK Day
Over 5000 people gathered at Oscar Grant Plaza in Oakland to mark Martin Luther King Day.The march was part of #120days of action organised by Anti Terror Police Project to mark MLK day and protest the upcoming presidential inauguration. The march was led by children who led chants and rallied the crowd. The crowd marched to Lake Merritt where not for profits had arranged for BBQ and a day at the park. Photos by Sana Saleem.
