Watch: Go behind the scenes of Cirque du Soleil’s ‘ECHO’

See how the famed troupe handles its gorgeous new costumes and spins its latest enchanting (and death-defying) tale.

New Cirque do Soleil spectacle “ECHO” (playing through January 18 at the Big Top near Oracle Park) explores the connections between the natural and human world, while celebrating our interconnectivity. Of course, there are tremendous acrobatics, hilarious clowns, and other dazzling circus acts—plus a flash of cutting-edge technology and some delightful animal-based costumes. 48 Hills video reporter Andrew Brobst speaks with Artistic Director Fabrice Lemire and Assistant Head of Wardrobe Laura McClure for insights into how they pull off that unique Cirque magic.
