A hectic Super Bowl LX week in the Bay Area is approaching. If you need to eat something besides pizza dip, Good Taste has you covered with these promising picks:

FEBRUARY 4: DANTE’S INFERNO PREVIEW Get a sneak peak of the cocktails, Jamaican food, and vibe planned for Dante’s Inferno, a restaurant, rooftop bar, and club opening later this year in Hayes Valley. DJ Pee .Wee (aka Anderson .Paak) headlines the evening of DJing and live R&B performances. Proceeds benefit the 49ers Foundation and Hurricane Melissa relief efforts. Early bird tickets are sold out; the remaining tickets at press time start at $374.99. 8pm-1:30am, 111 Minna, SF.

FEBRUARY 7: FAMILY STYLE FOOD FEST I’ve had a lot of fun at the Family Style Food Fest, which originated in Los Angeles and expanded to Las Vegas following the purchase of the brand by Complex, so I am quite excited to see that it will now land in Oakland for a Super Bowl weekend pre-party featuring a high-quality food lineup from the Bay and LA, including SoCal’s Jon & Vinny’s, burgerlord Alvin Cailan, and Kings Hawaiian restaurants and locals Hyphy Burger from Oakland, Square Pie Guys’ collaboration with rapper/producer P-Lo, and Larry’s Table (presumably for Larry June). There will also be live music headlined by the bright Vallejo rap star LaRussell and streetwear collaborations. Be forewarned: if the LA event is any indication, the merch lines may be longer than the food ones! GA Tickets are free with RSVP. 12pm-8pm at Oakland Arena, 7000 S. Coliseum Way, Oakland.
FEBRUARY 7: TASTE OF THE NFL Even though the Super Bowl is in Santa Clara, the NFL’s huge annual charitable tasting event is going to be held in San Francisco. A national lineup of chefs like Carla Hall, Cat Cora, and Eric Adjepong will present dishes alongside a dream team of Northern California talents such as Darryl Bell from Stateline Road Smokehouse in Napa, Reem Assil from Reem’s California Mission in SF and soon also returning to Oakland, and Laura and Sayat Ozyilmaz from Dalida and the upcoming Maria Isabel in SF. Proceeds benefit GENYOUth’s commitment to end student hunger. Tickets start at $1,051. 4pm-7pm at The Hibernia, 1 Jones Street, SF
FEBRUARY 8: SUPER BOWL CRAB FEED WATCH PARTY Dungeness crab season is finally on! While trawling through endless Bunny Bowl/Benito Bowl watch parties, I spotted a promising Super Bowl Crab Feed Watch Party that’s going to take place at an events venue called Scott’s Seafood Ballroom in San Jose. Tickets are $250 plus fees. 1:30pm-7:30pm. 88 S. 4th Street, San Jose
