Bay Area celebrates Biden win with claps, clangs, and honks

When word broke this morning that Joe Biden had clinched the presidency—and, closer to hometown news, Kamala Harris was going to be the first Black, Asian-American, female Vice President, from Oakland no less—celebrations broke out across the Bay Area. Beginning first with my neighbors yelling like crazy early in the morning, ha. Here are some glimpses of what’s happening. There’s a ton of work still to be done—don’t just go back to brunch, y’all—but a little relief is definitely being felt.
