Live Shots: Living Legends and Brother Ali showed us ‘How The Grouch Stole Christmas’

Cali hip-hop heroes and special guests topped the old-school tree at Regency Ballroom.

On December 8, California rap living legends Living Legends (the name has reason behind it) hit the Regency Ballroom to help lead us into 2024 with some old school energy, as part of the longtime “How the Grouch Stole Christmas” special concert tour, in celebration of their new album The Return. Aesop, Bicasso, Eligh, Luckyiam, Murs, Scarub, Sunspot Jonz, and, of course, ringleader The Grouch (with special guests like Reverie) riled the packed crowd.

They were joined by the one and only Brother Ali, who showed while the respect still flows for the Wisconsin-born emcee. Photographer D.A. Mission captured the summit for us. —Marke B.
