Join us for the 11th Annual 48 Hills Gala— discounted tickets going fast!

Celebrate truly local, independent media—and spectacular women— Oct. 5, 6pm-9pm, at the San Francisco War Memorial.

We can’t believe it’s been 11 years since we launched this independent, local, community-supported media experiment—and we wouldn’t be here without you, our readers and members.

Now it’s time to celebrate! Our 11th Annual 48 Hills Gala will be held on Saturday, October 5, 6pm-9pm, at the San Francisco War Memorial & Performance Arts Center. You can get discounted Early Bird tickets right now, right here. Learn more about sponsoring our Gala and ensuring another year of essential local coverage here.

We’re so excited to be upgrading the Gala this year, moving to the War Memorial with a full slate of entertainment, speakers, honors, and a delicious complimentary dinner from local purveyors. This year’s theme is “Women of Resistance,” celebrating local women’s resilience and the impactful changes they have initiated and sustained. We pay tribute to all women who have shaped history and propelled our communities forward—our commitment to amplifying these voices is our driving force.

We’ll be announcing more details in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. In the meantime, tell your friends and favorite institutions to grab tickets while they last!
