Politics on Tuesday: Lee, unemployment, and Pelosi

By Tim Redmond

Tenant advocate Dean Preston posted a note on Facebook yesterday that sums up how a lot of people feel, even after the mayor agreed to make the tech buses pay $1 for each Muni stop they use block:

Traffic backed up on my block due to illegal use by tech buses this morning. Muni stuck for a while due to dueling tech buses. When first tech bus moves another one pulls into the stop right in front of Muni bus, and transit riders forced to middle of street around bus to board. Best part: professional looking guy on the bus says to me: “no wonder everyone is pissed off about these Google buses.”
